SALT LAKE CITY, UT ( FOX 44 ) — For a second straight season, a former Baylor Bear earned his way on to the NBA All-Rookie Second team, as Utah’s Keyonte George gets the nod in 2024.

After getting drafted 16th in the 2023 NBA Draft, George burst onto the scene as one of the top rookies in the league. When it was all said and done, he finished second amongst NBA rookies in assists per game (4.4) and fifth amongst first year players in points per game (13).

He joins Jeremy Sochan as Baylor first round draft picks who earned their way onto the NBA All-Rookie Second team in the past two seasons.
