WACO, TX ( FOX 44 ) — On Friday, Baylor’s Johnny Keefer capped off one of the great careers in the history of the men’s golf program by earning a spot on the 2024 All-Big 12 team.

The honor comes just a few days after Keefer was named to the PING All-America Second Team, becoming the only three-time All-American in program history.

This recognition comes following a season in which Keefer was the go-to golfer on the Baylor roster, leading the team in below-par percentage, par-or-better percentage, total birdies, par-4 scoring average and par-5 scoring average.

He also passed Jimmy Walker for the best career stroke-average mark in program history, at 71.45.

Keefer ultimately finished 25th in the PGA Tour University’s rankings, which earns him automatic status on the PGA Tour for next season.
