A woman died Sunday afternoon after a blown tire caused a rollover in Garza County, according to a news release from the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The release stated the 2007 Honda Pilot was traveling south on U.S. Highway 84 near the 270-mile marker in Garza County around 3:20 p.m. Sunday. One of the tires blew out, which caused the driver to lose control and go into a side skid off of the road. It rolled before stopping in a field.

The driver, 50-year-old Christina Estorga of Waco, died at the scene. Estorga was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the report. Two passengers, a 13-year-old and 9-year-old from Waco, were not injured. The 9-year-old was wearing a seatbelt while the 13-year-old was not.

The driving conditions were clear and dry, according to the release.
