UIL football state championships returning to AT&T Stadium
The UIL football state championships are staying put for at least another year. The UIL announced on Sunday at the annual Texas High School Coaches Association Convention that the football state championships will be returning to Arlington's AT&T Stadium to conclude the 2024 season.

The Rudder girls volleyball team earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association’s team academic award for the 16th straight year. The Lady Rangers had a 3.64 grade-point average. The AVCA’s minimum is 3.3. Rudder, under veteran coach Jacky Pence, has earned the award every year since the school opened. Rudder was among only 48 schools in the state out of 3,250 to earn the award this year.
