MASSENA, New York (WWNY) - Carmelo Canales Viruet, 48, of Massena, passed away on July 9, 2024, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Carmelo was born August 15, 1975, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Carmelo Canales Diaz and Zaida Viruet Febre. He graduated from Jose Celso Barbosa School and worked in construction for many years. He married Natasha Boardman on July 5, 2024.
