Minnesota Loses A Staggering Amount Of Daylight In August
It seems to happen so fast every year, and I'm always caught off guard. The days get short, and it almost feels like someone hit a switch. Just a couple of weeks ago it was still bright at 9 pm. Then, it hit me. Last night I looked at my wife at about 8:40 pm and said, "Holy, it's already pitch black out."

Minnesota’s D.A.R.E. Program To Pivot From Drugs to Cyberbullying
Remember the D.A.R.E. program in school? We were never ever ever ever ever ever gonna do drugs, because the lion in a t-shirt (and NO PANTS) told us not to and to also snitch on our parents if we caught them doing drugs, whether it was recreational drugs or prescription drugs. We didn't know the difference, we just saw "drugs" and snitched.
Where Is Minnesota Looking At Adding A New Freeway?
I've been waiting years for some road relief, and while it's not coming to the St. Cloud area, at least in terms of a new freeway, the state of Minnesota is looking at converting a highway in the North Metro into the newest freeway. The move would eliminate stoplights and add over or underpasses for those intersections.

GOP congressional candidate Joe Teirab’s anti-abortion views run deep
Republican U.S. House candidate Joe Teirab’s anti-abortion views run so deep that he attributes his very existence to anti-abortion advocates. The union maintains that Sun Country Airlines exceeded $1 billion in revenue for the first time last year, and reported greater revenue than ever before in the first quarter of 2024.
What to know about Tim Walz’s 1995 drunken driving arrest and how he responded
