Livingston Parish officials to hold parish-wide school supply drive

Well listen up. One year the company I worked for had a school supply drive. The following year they wanted to do it again and I was on the committee to vote on this. So I asked them who got the supplies from last year. It took almost two months to find out where they went and it was a little shady. Stop and think about how many stores, how many companies collect and then the schools ask the kids to bring extra supplies for those who can’t afford it. I’m all for giving. I’m just saying there needs to be more accountability.
