The first six months of this year have been very busy, but very gratifying! We received a grant from the Cooke Foundation to obtain a computer, museum software and other equipment to set up an exhibit/heritage center in the Waialua Agriculture Building. Hawai‘i Island police seek the public’s help in finding a woman who was last seen in downtown Hilo on the Fourth of July. Sun Popovich, 26, was last seen at around 8 p.m. She is Native American, 5 feet 4 inches tall and 140 pounds. Authorities have not provided a photo at this time.
