Five local Presbyterian churches will combine for an outdoor worship service on Aug. 4 at the Hartwood Acres Amphitheater. Hampton, Elfinwild, Glenshaw, Glenshaw Valley and Parkwood churches will lead the worship service at 10 a.m. Bring a blanket and/or lawn chair, and come early for a pre-worship concert beginning at 9:30.

Wakefield, VA – Showers and isolated thunderstorms are moving across Virginia today, with additional storms expected later. Flash flooding is possible across much of the area, particularly central and eastern parts, as well as northeast North Carolina.
