Library to host hourlong musical tribute to ski jumpers
Ironwood, Michigan-based singer/songwriter Bill Jamerson will perform an hour-long musical tribute to the ski jumpers of the Upper Peninsula on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 1 p.m. at the Rice Lake Public Library. The Boys of Winter program is co-sponsored by the Cameron Ski Jumping Club and is open and free to the public. With guitar in hand, Jamerson performs original songs he wrote based on interviews with former ski jumpers 25 years ago.
