Two Redlin originals donated to the Terry Redlin Art Center
WATERTOWN, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Thanks to the generosity of an Arizona couple, two Terry Redlin original oil paintings have found their way “home.”. The pieces “The Master’s Domain” and “On the Alert” will now be displayed at the Terry Redlin Art Center in Watertown, which opened in 1997 to display the works of the Watertown artist.
Sturgis Motorcycle Rally impacts Downtown Rapid City parking
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - Those planning on heading to Downtown Rapid City in the next week should be aware of the new parking changes impacted by the Sturgis Rally. Beginning last Friday, several parking spaces near Saint Joseph Street and Sixth Street have been blocked off for motorcycle-only parking. Four spaces are coned off in front of the Hotel Alex Johnson with an additional three spaces next to Prairie Edge Trading Post reserved through Sunday, August 11.

At 9:30 a.m. Friday morning, Rapid City Engine 5 and Rescue 3 were called to Braeburn Park for an agile pup who climbed the side of a cliff and got stock on a small ledge.

Sioux Falls building permits remain behind 2023 pace
