A Couple Rounds of Storms Possible — Afternoon Update
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — It was a stormy morning in northeastern KELOLAND. Just before 1:00 PM a report came in of a wind gust of 92 MPH in Hillhead in Marshall county. There is broken cloud cover around the area. There are strong winds in western South Dakota, NOT under thunderstorms. Temperatures have been near and above normal, highs in the 80s and low 90s.
Unrestricted Category State Bluegill Record Broken
CLEAR LAKEL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Jason Deroy, of Clear Lake, SD, was underwater spearing when he set a new bluegill record on Pickerel Lake in northeastern South Dakota on July 6. This fish breaks the “unrestricted” bluegill record, meaning it was taken by any legal method other than hook and line. The image of the fish can be found on GFP’s Facebook page.
