K-9s are trained to chase a runner that refuses to stop when told too!! The K-9 & the officer were doing their jobs!! The family needs to find out WHO ACTUALLY called 911 & what they reported to the 911 operator in order for the police officers to go after their family member. When the K9 caught him, he should have stayed down on the ground & not tried to move. I'm sorry for the family's loss, but running from the law/K9 has consequences. They don't need to punish the K-9 or the officer for doing their jobs!
