DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - King’s Harvest Pet Rescue is still hosting it’s Cuddle and Comfort event on Wednesday, despite the rescheduling of Red, White and Boom!. A 61-year-old Rock Island man was in custody Wednesday after officials allege he struck a conservation officer, according to court records. Tommy Smith, who was in custody Wednesday in Rock Island County Jail, faces a Class 1 felony charge of aggravated battery, a Class 2 felony charge of aggravated battery, a Class 2 felony charge of attempting to disarm a police officer, and a Class A misdemeanor of sexual offender at a public park, court records show.
