Minnesota Looking to Increase Numbers of This Animal
The Minnesota DNR in collaboration with the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa plan to move elk from the northwestern part of the state to the northeastern part of the state near Cloquet and north. Glen Schmitt from Outdoor News joined me on WJON. He says the plan is to transfer 15 to 20 elk from the northwestern part of the state to the northeastern part with the hopes of growing the herd. Charges upgraded Horace vehicle crash which injured several people
HORACE, ND — An 18-year-old woman faces upgraded charges in connection with a crash in Horace that hurt several people. It happened last month on County Road 17, where authorities say McKenzie Moser veered into the opposite lane and collided with another car. All three people in the other car were seriously hurt. Moser was initially charged with DUI and DUI refusal, but now faces a criminal vehicular injury charge.
