Boublik, who joined the Broncos in 1994 as an assistant team physician to first Dr. Richard Hawkins, then Dr. Ted Schlegel and served as the head team physician as a contracted employee/outside consultant since 2012, personally informed Broncos Owner & CEO Greg Penner of his decision.

The body of a stabbing victim was discovered in Cherry Creek on Tuesday, July 16. Law enforcement officials are still investigating what happened. The victim was identified as Ethan Martinez, 42, according to the Office of the Medical Examiner.
