12th annual 40/29 and Arkansas CW Backpack Giveaway draws hundreds
ROGERS, Ark. — Hundreds of area children are now better equipped for the new school year after attending the 12th annual 40/29 and Arkansas CW Backpack Giveaway on Saturday. With the help of sponsors, a thousand backpacks were handed out at the Pleasant Crossing Walmart. The backpacks contained items like planners, glue sticks and crayons.
