Students Save Track Coach's Life

Upon realizing the severity of the situation, Graham and Lichfield immediately assessed Hadway's condition, found no pulse, and began performing CPR while another team member called 911.

Their coordinated efforts continued until emergency medical technicians arrived and transported Hadway to the hospital. The duo alternated administering CPR for three minutes until EMTs took over, with the assistance of neighbors, including an off-duty paramedic.

Thanks to the timely and effective actions of the students, Hadway was able to regain his pulse and is currently recovering in the hospital. His son expressed immense gratitude for the students' quick response, emphasizing that his father's life was saved due to their immediate and decisive actions.
