A new development will be coming to the Interstate 22 corridor and is forecast to bring 50 jobs to Walker County.<\p> A Love’s Travel Stop and County store will own a 22-acre plot within the Heritage Landing Development in Dora. The remainder of the 50-acre Heritage Landing commercial site at the intersection of I-22 and Flat Creek Road is owned by the Drummond Company.<\p>

The NWS has issued a Heat Advisory. For counties in the west, the advisory is in effect until 9 PM CDT this evening. The advisory will be in effect for the entire area from 10 AM to 7 PM CDT Sunday. Heat index values are expected to reach up to 105 today and up to 108 tomorrow.
