Others will be bleary-eyed and complain about getting up and how going to bed earlier wouldn’t help. Or, maybe that’s just me this morning. Backpacks will be filled with new supplies, breakfasts gulped down between last-minute shoe tying and tooth brushing, and jackets will be zipped up against the morning chill. Who are we kidding, jackets are zipped if you’re lucky. It’s not all that far away,

Sun Prairie native a burgeoning star for Iowa football
INDIANAPOLIS — Addison Ostrenga’s role changed drastically by the week for the University of Iowa football team last fall. The attention turned to Ostrenga, a Sun Prairie native and then a sophomore tight end. He was asked to become a key target for an offense that was struggling, and while he couldn’t turn it around entirely, he became a crucial weapon for whom coach Kirk Ferentz sees a bright future.
