Maryland man and his dog escape through roof of trapped elevator
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A man and his dog had to be rescued from a stuck elevator on Monday, July 22, according to the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad. The Rescue Squad officials say that they were called after the elevator became jammed between two floors, leaving the man and his dog trapped inside the Maryland building.
Property Tax and Rent Rebate Program application date extended
In January Governor Josh Shapiro announced the Property Tax/Rent Rebate program, or PTRR for short. With the program, hundreds of thousands of older and disabled Pennsylvanians will now be eligible for a rebate up to $1,000. This brings the maximum standard rebate up from its previous level of $650. The site will be redeveloped and prepared for a future employer to set up a business and hire workers. “The Commonwealth is taking steps to make properties like the Gettysburg Foundry site viable and attractive to potential employers,” Mastriano said. “The goal is to get the Gettysburg Foundry site ready so an employer can acquire it, start a new business and staff it with local workers from the community.”
