Indiana State Police issue warning after Ohio legalizes marijuana
Possessing marijuana is a misdemeanor. If you bring it from a state like Ohio, which just legalized it, you could face fines and charges. “Our troopers are trained in the detection of illegal narcotics to include marijuana,” says State Police Sergeant John Perrine. “If they (police) come across it, it’s still against the law. They have to proceed with Indiana law.”

MLive Meteorologist Mark Torregrossa is calling for a “true fall-like day” Saturday before the state eases back toward summer temperatures. Tornado causes damage in western St. Joseph County
THREE RIVERS — A confirmed EF-2 tornado Tuesday hit areas of the western part of St. Joseph County, including Three Rivers, Flowerfield Township and Fabius Township. A tornado warning was issued at 7:59 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph County, which went through 9 a.m., while a tornado watch was issued until 3 p.m. The tornado that passed through had high winds and heavy rains, and caused damage to some buildings, trees and properties in the area.

Nappanee Bicyclist Killed In Crash
