Sunday will be the hottest day of the weekend and week ahead across the Inland Northwest, with temperatures ranging between 100 and 110 degrees. Spokane's forecast high on Sunday is sitting around 105 degrees, with Coeur d'Alene following close behind at 103. Down south, Lewiston will be reaching even more dangerously hot conditions with a daytime of 112 expected in the LC Valley. A Smoke Air Quality Advisory has been issued. Wildfires burning in the region combined with forecasted conditions will cause air quality to reach unhealthy levels. Pollutants in smoke can cause burning eyes runny nose aggravate heart and lung diseases and aggravate other serious health problems. Limit outdoor activities and keep children indoors if it is smoky. Please follow medical advice if you have a heart or lung condition."
