Lake Elsie fire in Shoshone County contained, no public risk

SHOSHONE COUNTY, Idaho — The Lake Elsie fire burning near Wallace Idaho is under control.

According to the Shoshone County Sheriff's Office, the Lake Elsie fire and Dobson Pass fire are contained and pose no risk to the public.

Dobson Pass fire is under control with one fire truck remaining on scene, according to Shoshone County Sheriff's Office.

No updates on the fire south of Lake Elsie.

Two fires are burning near the Joe River and Dobson Pass, according to Shoshone County Sheriff's Office.

According to SCSO, the first fire is located just below Lake Elsie to the north of the Joe River. The second fire is located on the south side of Dobson Pass.

SCSO is currently helping the fire department
