Elmhurst Hospital’s expansion gets $27.5 million State funding
New York State has announced $27.5 million for a major expansion project at Elmhurst Hospital in Queens. More than $20 million will go to a project that includes expansion of the Women’s Pavilion from 16,000 to 35,000 sq. ft., a major overhaul will add three new floors and increase the facility’s capacity for high-quality prenatal care.
