CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A National Champion shooter at West Virginia University will make a second attempt at shooting for gold in the upcoming Paris Olympic Games. WVU’s golf program will be well represented at this year’s U.S. Amateur Golf Championship. West Virginia native Todd Duncan became the third Mountaineer golfer to qualify for the sport’s top amateur event. Suspected Wood County Shooter Captured in Harrison County After Vienna Woman Found Dead
A man who is suspected of shooting a woman in Wood County the previous Saturday has been taken into custody in Harrison County. A woman was discovered dead from what seemed to be a gunshot wound at an apartment on 19th Street in Vienna, which is located in the Parkersburg neighborhood, according to a press statement issued by the Vienna Police Department.
