One person shot in Folsom, police searching for suspect
One person has been shot in Folsom and a manhunt has been underway for the suspect Friday night. At approximately 8:50 p.m. Folsom Police were dispatched to an apartment complex on Duchow Way in Folsom for the incident. According to radio traffic, one male adult was reportedly shot in the chest and has been transported to UC Davis Medical Center.

Officials working to find new place for child molesters to be released in Stanislaus County
TURLOCK, Calif. — The Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office said Friday sexually violent predators Kevin Gray and Timothy Weathers won't be placed in a home in Turlock. A Stanislaus County Superior Court judge granted a motion to prevent them from being placed at that home.
