Center Hill Lake To Host Wakeboarding Event
Center Hill Lake will play host to a wakeboarding competition that brings some of the nation’s best to the Upper Cumberland this weekend. The water sport features riders towed by a motorboat across its wake allowing the rider to perform aerial maneuvers. Pates Ford Media Manager Jeff Eslick said the best wakeboarders are some of the best athletes in the world.

JACKSON, Miss. | FCS Football Central releases its Preseason All-American Team featuring four student-athletes from HBCUs all from the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC). Jackson State punter Matt Noll was named Second Team All-American after he earned Preseason First Team All-Conference honors on Tuesday. He finished the year recording 34 punts for 1,507 yards. Tennessee Man Dies After Being Burned By 150-Degree Hotel Shower
76-year-old Tennessee native Alex Chronis was staying at the Econo Lodge in Erlanger, Kentucky. This was back in November 2021 while Chronis was on a work trip. Per the Knoxville News Sentinel, Chronis was badly burned during a morning shower. The Middleton Library was thrilled to announce the Friends of the Middleton Community Library received another generous $10,000 donation from an anonymous local donor through the American Endowment Foundation.
