Breeze Airways is coming to Portsmouth Airport at Pease this fall
Travelers can get to Florida aboard the low-cost carrier. Breeze Airways will service a second Granite State airport beginning this fall, the airline announced on Wednesday. The low-cost carrier, which launched three years ago, will begin flying at Portsmouth International Airport at Pease in October. Breeze made its New Hampshire debut in June at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, with flights to Orlando and Charleston, S.C.

HILL — In the fall of 2023, students at the Jennie D. Blake School held a book release party for their historical fiction project, "Jennie’s Story," based on the life of Jennie Lind Dickerson Blake, the teacher for whom the school was named. This year, on June 11, students at the school — including three who were part of the book project last year — presented a play based on that story.
Suspect arrested in New Hampshire crash involving motorcycle
On July 15, police responded to a crash involving a motorcycle on Central Street and Maple Street in Hudson, New Hampshire, according to the Hudson police. Police say a motorcycle made contact with another vehicle on the road, causing damage. The operator of the motorcycle did not stop and left the area of the accident before police arrived. According to the statement, “information developed on the scene,” and police learned that the driver of the motorcycle lived nearby.

Driver seriously hurt, another facing DWI charge in Hooksett, NH, crash
A man was seriously hurt in a car crash Monday night in Hooksett, New Hampshire, that left the other driver behind bars on a drunken driving charge, police said. Brady Gut, a 31-year-old from Chichester, faces a charge of aggravated driving while intoxicated for the crash, which occurred on Hooksett Road about 7:38 p.m. The other driver, a 70-year-old Hooksett man, is expected to survive, Hooksett police said Tuesday.
