Another Massachusetts resident has become ill as part of a deadly outbreak of listeria that has been linked to Boar’s Head liverwurst. As of Aug. 8, three Massachusetts residents have been reported as becoming sickened in the outbreak, according to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Previously, only two Bay Staters had been reported as being part of the outbreak.

Worcester Police Seek Public’s Aid to Identify Suspect in Tip Jar Theft
The Worcester Police Department is seeking help from the public to identify a man in relation to a theft that took place recently. The man is wanted for questioning after an employee's tip jar was stolen. The Worcester Police have released a photo of the male suspect in hopes that someone will recognize him and come forward with information. Community members who might know the identity of the person in question are encouraged to contact the Worcester Police Detective Bureau.
