5 juveniles arrested after property damage at Carbondale splash park
CARBONDALE, Ill. (KBSI) – Carbondale police say they arrested five juveniles after investigating property damage at a Carbondale splash park. Officers responded to the Carbondale Super Splash Park in the 600 block of South Lewis Lane on August 10 at 9:54 a.m. for a report of criminal trespass and criminal damage to property.

Howard Greiner Rises To iHeartMedia Nashville Metro President
IHeartMedia Albany NY Area President Howard Greiner is relocating to Nashville to serve as Metro President overseeing operations in that market. Greiner has led iHeart’s Albany NY region, which also includes Poughkeepsie NY and Sussex NJ, since November 2021. He previously spent his career mostly in the outdoor advertising business based in Nashville, including running his own HCG Consulting. During his career, Greiner has served as President/CEO of US Outdoor from 1997 to 2000 and Buntin Out of Home Media from 2000 to 2018.
Salem Police make arrest following bicycle chase
A 34-year-old homeless Salem woman was arrested after leading Salem Police on a chase on her bicycle Tuesday night. Police say they asked Nicole Dutton to stop because she had a warrant, but instead she fled. The chase began near West Main and College and traveled Schwartz to South Broadway. Dutton reportedly got off her bike and went into a garage of a home in the 400 block of South Broadway. Police heard the homeowner scream as she was trying to stop Dutton from getting further into the home. She was then taken into jail and the Marion County jail on an outstanding no bond felony failure to appear warrant in a possession of methamphetamine case and a new charge of resisting arrest.
