10 best honeymoon destinations

Although the past year has been a rollercoaster when it comes to both- travel and wedding industry, the newly-married couples surely did not drop the idea of planning their perfect honeymoon trips. Today I am sharing a not-so-typical list of the most beautiful travel destinations to consider perfect for a honeymoon! Let’s take a look at some of the world’s most beautiful locations and get inspired to travel when it’s safe again. 

1. Santorini, Greece

This Greek island is one of the most beautiful destinations in Europe. Even though it’s a popular island for tying the knot, I loved roaming the streets and enjoying some of the most beautiful sunsets you can ever witness. 3. Cappadocia, Turkey

It’s safe to say that this unique location will exceed your expectations! Take a quick stopover in Istanbul and head over to Goreme, which is known for beautiful landscapes and hot air balloons. We found this destination absolutely unique- the exceptional food, the most unique accommodation and extremely friendly locals- a big YES for a trip to Turkey! 4. Kenya 

This country is a dream destination for so many reasons. Dreamy tropical beaches, wild safaris, beautiful luxury lodges and incredibly rich culture are just to begin with. I travelled between Nairobi and Samburu, which is home to one of the semi-nomadic tribes. I loved visiting their village, getting to know the culture and playing with kids! 4. The Seychelles

 If I were to pick my favourite tropical paradise destination, the winner is the Seychelles! Those islands combine both- the ultimate luxury that many honeymooners seek as well as the most spectacular views and the best beaches. One of the most beautiful islands you can pick is La Digue. 5. Indonesia

This country is so much more than just Bali and even though the island of gods is a destination I keep coming back to- there is much more to discover. I do believe that Indonesia, and Bali itself, has plenty to please everyone with. You can go budget or spend a lot on luxurious hotels and experiences. You can stay in one place and relax amongst the most lush nature or explore. Bali is a perfect base to take off to Komodo Islands, which is a virgin and relatively quiet area of Indonesia. 6. Positano, Italy

There are so many dreamy places in Italy, including Puglia, Sicily and Cinque Terre, but our favourite is definitely Positano and Amalfi Coast. The coast is home to some of the most beautiful views in Europe. If you’re thinking of spending your honeymoon in Italy, fly over to Naples, rent a car and take a scenic route down South.
