    Without a doubt, the USA is a country blessed with some of the most incredible and jaw-dropping locations in the world. From coastal California to urban New York, as far as the country stretches there are nature wonders everywhere you go. Let’s take a look at some of the most iconic places you can visit while exploring the US and inspire the wanderlust in you.

    1. ARCHES NATIONAL PARK, UTAH 

    Arches National Park is famous for the arch formations which you can spot within the park. If your timetable is very restricted, make sure you make your way to the Delicate Arch! There are two ways to reach the location, an easy and shorter hike and a 3-mile more challenging trek which is perfect if you can spend more time here!

    If you’re planning to spend more time in Arches, visit the Balanced Rock, The Windows, Double Arch, and Landscape Arch. If you love adventures, try out Devil’s Garden to the Double O Arch. Do not worry if you cannot fit all these into your road trip. The journey through the park will be very rewarding anyway!

    2. BONNEVILLE SALT FLATS, UTAH

    Located only 1,5 hour drive from Salt Lake City, there is an otherworldly location named Bonneville Salt Flats. The Bonneville Salt Flats offers one of the most unique landscapes in the world and there is no surprise that numerous movies and commercials were filmed there. The Salt Flats consist of hard, white salt crust and spread as far as the eye can see.  

    The access to Bonneville Salt Flats is free and open 24h a day. Remember to pack warm clothes if you’re headed there for the sunrise as mornings tend to be very cool.

    3. JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK, CALIFORNIA

    With its dreamy, sun-drenched landscapes, breathtaking rock formations and the Milky-Way lightning up the dark sky, it’s easy to fall in love with the Joshua Tree National Park.

    5. LAKE TAHOE, CALIFORNIA

    Straddling the state line between California and Nevada, Lake Tahoe figures as the second deepest lake in the USA and the largest sweetwater lake in Sierra Nevada. With its large boulders, crystal waters and incredibly scenic surroundings, Lake Tahoe is a significant tourism centre for both neighbour states.     6. HORSESHOE BEND, ARIZONA

    Although there are countless incredible viewpoints in Arizona, the famous Horseshoe Bend steals all the thunder. Located near Page, AZ, the lookout offers the expansive views of the horseshoe bend-shaped meander of the Colorado River and orange-coloured cliffs.

    7. NA PALI COAST, KAUAI, HAWAII

    Directly translated to as “the high cliffs”, the one and only Na Pali Coast stretches over nearly 18 miles along Kauai’s northwestern shores. This mysteriously beautiful state park is best described as a formation of dramatic cliffs that fall perfectly into a Jurassic Park movie scene. The cliffs are covered in evergreen lush forests and surrounded by turquoise waters. 

    Although it’s best seen from either the boat or the helicopter, you can sign up for a 3-5 day hike through the most spectacular locations within the state park and experience the very best of this incredible place.
