The most beautiful beaches around Komodo National Park, Indonesia

Flores, and it’s integral Komodo National Park, is a group of secluded, paradise-like islands that should be on the bucket list of every traveller. 1. BEACHES OF PADAR ISLAND

Padar is one incredible spot for hiking and sunset watching. The island is also surrounded by a beautiful lagoon and calm turquoise waters, which makes it a perfect place to swim and snorkel. 2. PINK BEACH- PANTAI MERAH

Komodo is one of a very few places in the world blessed with beautiful beaches that spark all shades of pink. This unique phenomenon is caused by the rare red coral that is washed to the shore where it blends with sparkling white sand. Pantai Merah, although best known for the pink sands, is surrounded by the breathtakingly blue calm waters that contrast perfectly with the magenta shores. 

3. TAKA MAKASSAR, THE BANANA BEACH

Although it is also a major snorkeling spot, the 15-minute hike to the highest point of the island will reward you with the incredible panoramic view of Flores, Rinca and other nearby islands. 

5. THE BEACH AT LE PIRATE ISLAND

Le Pirate Island is Komodo’s ultimate chill destination and the only island that serves the adventurous beach glamping experience.
