What We Don't Like About Sorrento Italy (In the Off Season)
Although Sorrento was beautiful, there were a few things about our visit we didn't like. It was very empty and almost felt like a ghost town, although we did visit during the off season during the COVID pandemic. We still loved it though!

Visiting "Aragonese Castle" Built on a Mini Island in Ischia, Italy
My #2 Top thing to do in Ischia, Italy is to visit the "Castello Aragonese", which is an old, grand, historic castle built on top of a mini island connected to Ischia. You can actually enter the castle grounds, or just walk up to the base of it and gawk at its magnificence. Either way, it is a must see. Check out part 3 coming tomorrow!
Hiking Mt. Epomeo, The Tallest Point on the Island of Ischia Italy
This is part one for my Top Things to do in Ischia, Italy, an island off the coast of Naples. The first thing on my list is to hike Mt. Epomeo, which is the tallest point on the entire island. This is a great way to get acquainted with island by passing through the countryside, small villages, some forested areas, and ultimately getting panoramic views of the island. Stay tuned for Part 2!
Stunning Sunset on the Ferry Ride Back to Naples, Italy
After spending two days exploring the island of Ischia, Italy, we took the ferry back to Naples in the evening. We were lucky enough to catch a beautiful sunset from the boat with the sun disappearing next to the mountains green island. What a way to end the day!
All-White Byzantine Church Built Above the Sea in Ischia, Italy
While exploring the island of Ischia, Italy, we discovered the stunning "Chiesa del Soccorso", an all-white Byzantine style church built above the sea. It is not a large cathedral, but it was such a beautiful and impressive scenic sight.
