Walking Through a Coniferous Pine Forest in Kuli'ou'ou - It Feels like the Rocky Mountains!
While hiking the Kuli'ou'ou Ridge Trail, the scenery changed to a coniferous forest (meaning pine trees) which was very unexpected. As someone who used to live in Colorado, this made me feel like I was hiking back in the Rocky Mountains. Hawaii keeps on impressing me!

Lanikai Beach is actually a great beach to do a little jogging - the city is very soft and beautiful, but it has a nice and firm texture close to the water. However, my wife prefers to relax here, which she does on our nifty inflatable bean bag. I love Lanikai!
