With the European leg of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour well underway, Swifties from all over the continent are already getting to see their favorite singer perform. Since early May, Taylor has stopped in cities including Paris and Lyon in France, Stockholm, Sweden, and Madrid, Spain, and she still has plenty more to check off her list. This weekend, she's in Scotland, performing for three nights in a row at Murrayfield Stadium. And as it turns out, she's already getting quite a warm welcome from the locals!

As you probably already know, bagpipes are quite popular in Scotland, thanks to how deeply tied to the culture and tradition of the country they are. And now, they're using this part of their country's tradition to welcome Taylor.

Taylor Swift has been welcomed to Scotland in style as she kicks off the UK leg of the Eras Tour in Edinburgh tomorrow, with a bagpipe rendition of Love Story 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 #taylorswift #erastour #taylorswiftedinburgh #murrayfield #bagpipes #swifttok #scotland #edinburgh

In footage taken in Edinburgh, Scotland that was shared on the Daily Mail UK ' s official TikTok account on Wednesday, June 6, we can see bagpipe players expertly playing one of Taylor's biggest hits of her career: "Love Story."

Sure, it sounds a little different on bagpipes, but it's still easy to tell exactly what they're playing, and the people who have gathered to listen (and dance) to the music are loving it.

According to Newsweek, these players are from The Reel Time Band, and their pipe major, Roddy Deans, said they practiced for 32 hours to get their rendition of "Love Story" exactly right. That's impressive!

Playing the bagpipes in honor of Taylor has been a popular choice so far. One fan shared a video of another player on X (formerly Twitter) playing "Shake It Off" in the streets. So cool!

How Edinburgh Zoo Is Welcoming Taylor Swift

Bagpipe musicians aren't the only people in Edinburgh working to make Taylor feel welcome.

Earlier this week, the Edinburgh Zoo shared that they'd made friendship bracelets for their penguins in honor of the Eras Tour coming to the city, which resulted in some of the cutest photos ever shared on their Instagram account. Can we talk about how well they wear their new accessories?

They also named their newest additions — two cotton-top tamarins who were born on Tuesday — after the singer. One is named Taylor, and the other is named Swift. That's too cute!

Looks like Edinburgh really is going all out for Taylor. I hope the fans who are lucky enough to go to the concerts this weekend have a blast!
