    USF, Indiana Tech baseball fall in NAIA Tournament opener

    WILLIAMSBURG, Kent. (WANE) – Saint Francis made its NAIA Tournament debut on Monday morning, as the fourth-seeded Cougars fell to fifth-seeded Park University by a score of 6-1 in their first game at the Williamsburg bracket in Kentucky hosted by the University of the Cumberlands.

    USF (37-18) now faces Bellevue (Neb.) in an elimination game on Tuesday at 10 a.m., as Bellevue lost its opener to Loyola (La.) 6-2 on Monday.

    Indiana Tech, meanwhile, fell in its first game of the Upland bracket hosted by Taylor University. The Warriors were bested by IU Southeast 14-11 on Monday, as Tech now faces MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) in an elimination game at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
