FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The TinCaps’ longest winning streak since mid-May came to an end in a 5-1 loss to South Bend on Saturday.

South Bend opened the game with five unanswered runs. Ethan Long ended a shutout bid in the seventh inning with an RBI double to right field, scoring Joshua Mears. Fort Wayne only collected two total hits in Saturday’s loss to the Cubs.

The TinCaps wrap up their road trip on Sunday, with first pitch scheduled for 1:05 p.m. at Four Winds Field.
