Curtains close on Muddy River Concert Series 2024

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The Muddy River Concert Series sings its swan song at Promenade Park on Wednesday as the event hosts its last performance of the year.

This week, Left Lane Cruiser serenades the crowd alongside the river while Teds Snack + Bar serves refreshments.

Riverfront Rental Coordinator Erin Elliot said she saw an increase in attendance this year at the concerts.

“People love to come out and enjoy the music and the different variations that we offer,” Elliot said. “…Next year we’re planning on bringing [the concert series] back so we’re hoping for attendance to continue to skyrocket.”

The free event runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Promenade Park located on 202 West Superior Street. For more information on the event or Promenade Park, visit the Riverfront Fort Wayne website .
