Cougars women’s soccer win battle of Saint Francis to start season 3-0

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – In a battle of Saint Francis, the Cougars defended their home pitch in a 3-1 win over Saint Francis (IL).

DeKalb grad Jaylin Carroll earned a brace, scoring in the 18th and 62nd minutes. Columbia City grad Courtney Tobin scored the eventual game-winning goal in the 21st minute.

With Sunday’s win, Saint Francis is off to a 3-0 start. The Cougars look to remain unbeaten on Friday at Cornerstone.
