Snider’s Tippmann joins WANE live to preview GOTW

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Snider head coach Kurt Tippmann joined WANE-TV live during the 6 p.m. news on Friday to preview the Highlight Zone “Game of the Week,” as the reigning 5A state champs play host to Northeast Eight powerhouse East Noble at Spuller Stadium.

Snider, who will compete in 6A this season when the playoffs arrive in October due to the IHSAA success factor, is coming off a 15-0 loss in week one to Indy-area powerhouse Warren Central.

East Noble is coming off a 42-6 win over Bremen in Kendallville last Friday, in what was new head coach Alex Stewart’s debut. Stewart replaced Luke Amstutz, who stepped away from coaching to become the activities director at East Noble after 12 seasons as the head football coach.

These two played last season in week two, with the Panthers leaving Kendallville with a 45-28 victory.

Kick is set for 7 p.m. at Spuller Stadium.
