2 Minute Drill: Southwood’s Thomas Tyree

WABASH, Ind. (WANE) – For the first time since 2005, a Snyder isn’t the head football coach at Southwood High School, as Thomas Tyree has taken over the Knights program following Dan Snyder (2006-2010) and Dave Snyder (2011-2023).

Last Friday Tyree led Southwood in its 2024 home opener, and WANE-TV mic’d up the coach for his home debut in this week’s edition of the Highlight Zone “2 Minute Drill.”

Southwood travels to Northwestern this coming Friday for a TRC showdown with the Tigers.

Tune in every Wednesday at 6 p.m. during the regular season to see a new “2 Minute Drill” segment each week. Then check out the Highlight Zone on Fridays at 11 p.m. for Fort Wayne’s no. 1 sport show!
