FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – City officials break ground Thursday on a health clinic for southeast Fort Wayne’s newest mixed-income neighborhood.

Parks Edge, previously known as Village Premier, enters Phase II of its four-step plan to revitalize the area with houses, apartments and other amenities.

Phase I, the construction of 208 apartments, was completed in June. Applications are available for four different floor plans.

According to the City of Fort Wayne’s website, construction on the clinic is planned to finish next year, which springs the plan into the following phase.
