    Carroll girls volleyball suffers first loss to Hamilton Southeastern

    FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – After starting the season 12-0, Carroll girls volleyball suffered their first loss of the year on Saturday against 4A juggernaut Hamilton Southeastern (25-27, 20-25, 16-25).

    Bailey Sinish led the Chargers with 13 kills. Sophia Gisslen dished out a team-high 31 assists, while Cala Haffner racked up 17 digs defensively.

    Earlier in the day, Carroll swept Zionsville (25-18, 25-16, 25-18) to open the season with 12 straight wins. Sinish paced the offense with a team-high 20 kills in the morning victory.

    Carroll looks to bounce back on Tuesday with a road match at Northrop.
