    9/9 Inside The Zone – Week Four Preview

    FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Conference play kicked off last Friday all around northeast Indiana, and to break it all down and look ahead to week four of the season Justin Kenny of Optimum Performance Sports sat down with WANE sports director Glenn Marini for an all-new edition of Inside The Zone.

    The NECC will take center stage this Friday night as the Highlight Zone’s “Game of the Week” will feature a pair of undefeated teams as Lakeland travels to Garrett. The Lakers are coming off a 48-6 win over previously unbeaten Prairie Heights, while Garrett cruised to a 41-0 win on the road at Churubusco last Friday.

    In the SAC, Carroll heads to Shields Field for a clash with Bishop Dwenger, Wayne travels to Bishop Luers, Homestead heads to Northrop, South Side will host Snider, and Concordia makes its way to North Side.

    In the NE8, East Noble rallied to defeat Huntington North 28-16 on the road last week. The Knights will be back in Kendallville this Friday to host DeKalb, Other NE8 match-ups are Leo at New Haven, Huntington North at Columbia City, and Norwell at Bellmont.

    In the ACAC, Bluffton will host Woodlan this Friday, Jay County travels to Adams Central, while Heritage hosts South Adams, with Southern Wells stepping out of conference with a road game at Prairie Heights.

    Other key games in the area include Southwood at Northfield in the TRC and Warsaw at Wawasee in the NLC.
