9/23 Inside The Zone – Week Six Preview

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Conference races are heating up as we enter week six of the high school football season, and Justin Kenny of Optimum Performance Sports sat down with WANE sports director Glenn Marini to break down the races in northeast Indiana in your latest edition of “Inside The Zone.”

In the NECC, it’s a showdown that will go a long way in determining the NECC Big Division title as West Noble hosts Garrett in a battle of unbeatens for your Highlight Zone “Game of the Week.” Also in NECC play it’s Churubusco at Fremont, Fairfield at Angola, Prairie Heights at Eastside, and Lakeland at Central Noble.

In the SAC, Snider has another big test this week as the Panthers return to Spuller Stadium to face Homestead. Elsewhere in the conference, Carroll is at Wayne, Northrop is at Bishop Dwenger, Bishop Luers will host North Side, while Concordia travels to South Side on Friday.

In the NE8 the Leo Lions head down to Decatur this week for a date with Bellmont, while Columbia City hosts New Haven East Noble hosts Norwell, and Huntington North heads to DeKalb.

In the ACAC, Adams Central and South Adams will renew their rivalry this Friday night at Starfire Field, while Bluffton is at Southern Wells, Woodlan is at Jay County, and Heritage steps out of conference for a road game at Tipton.
