Bellmont girls soccer clinches share of NE8 title

DECATUR, Ind. (WANE) – Bellmont rallied from an early 1-0 deficit to beat East Noble 2-1 in girls soccer on Wednesday, earning the Braves at least a share of the NE8 title this season with one conference game left to play.

Bellmont now stands 6-0 in NE8 action and 10-2-1 overall. Their next game is set for Monday on the road at DeKalb, Bellmont’s final NE8 contest of the season.

Both Leo and DeKalb are 5-1 in NE8 play with one conference game remaining.

East Noble falls to 8-4-1 overall (2-4 NE8) with their next match slated for Monday at New Haven.
