Blackhawk Christian boys soccer edges Leo, 2-1

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Blackhawk Christian boys soccer gutted out a 2-1 win over Leo on Saturday night.

Goals from Blackhawk Christian’s Gavin Zimmerman and Caleb Wike sandwiched a Leo goal from Cooper Harris in the first half. Blackhawk Christian goalie Isaac Stayton collected four saves, including a key stop in the second half to keep the Braves’ lead intact.

Blackhawk Christian (11-3-1) wraps up the regular season on Tuesday against Northrop. Leo (7-3-3) turns their attention to Monday’s NE8 championship match against Columbia City.
