    Leo boys soccer rolls past Columbia City to lock up NE8 title

    LEO, Ind. (WANE) – Leo boys soccer is dusting off their brooms after completing a sweep over the NE8 on Monday. The Lions rolled past Columbia City, 4-0, to lock up an outright conference title.

    Nolan Miller scored the opening goal off a header from a corner kick in the first half. Brooks Opliger followed that up with his own header off a corner kick to double Leo’s lead, 2-0. Mason Puffer finished with a brace, while Eli Lorenc assisted on three of Leo’s goals.

    Leo (8-3-3) visits Homestead on Wednesday, while Columbia City (7-4-2) visits Carroll on Tuesday.
